Cookie Notice
1. The short version
Orvik uses two kinds of cookies: strictly necessary cookies that keep you signed in, and Google Analytics cookies (production only) that tell us, in aggregate, how the site is used. We use no advertising cookies and no cross-site tracking cookies. Some interface preferences are kept in your browser's localStorage, which never leaves your device.

localStorage (this site only, never transmitted): interface preferences such as dismissed notices and workspace settings.
3. Your controls
- Analytics: analytics loads only on the production site. You can block it with your browser's cookie controls, any content blocker, or Google's own opt-out add-on (tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout). The site works fully without it.
- Strictly necessary cookies cannot be disabled while staying signed in — deleting them simply signs you out.
- Browser settings: every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies per site (usually under Settings → Privacy). Blocking all cookies for orvik.ai will prevent sign-in.
4. Changes
If we add or change cookies, this inventory is updated first and the effective date above changes. Material changes are announced per the Privacy Policy.
